Merchant Builder definition

Merchant Builder means a commercial developer, homebuilder, apartment developer or other owner of real property within the Proposed Development that is designated by the Developer, in writing, as authorized to submit Land Use Applictions to the County.
Merchant Builder means an individual, company, partnership, corporation or similar entity that obtains land previously subdivided for the purpose of constructing new residential units upon the subdivided land.
Merchant Builder means a person or entity that will acquire a portion of the Project for the development and sale of Residences thereon.

  • Owner agrees to include in any future agreement to sell all or any portion of the property to any person or entity for the purpose of constructing and marketing owner-occupied residential dwelling units (each, a “Merchant Builder”) provisions requiring the inclusion of the following “escrow instructions” in all sales by such Merchant Builder to residential home owners.
