Neighborhood Expense definition

Neighborhood Expense. : shall mean the actual and estimated expenses which the Association incurs or expects to incur for the benefit of Owners within a particular Neighborhood or Neighborhoods, which may include a reasonable reserve for capital repairs and replacements and a reasonable administrative charge, as may be authorized pursuant to this Declaration or in the Supplementary Declaration(s) applicable to such Neighborhood(s).
Neighborhood Expense. . “Neighborhood Expense” means and refers to the following expenses, including but shall not be limited to: (a) costs of insurance, if any, from time to time obtained by the Association attributable to a Neighborhood; (b) costs of operating and maintaining all other improvements and easement areas for which the Association is responsible for maintaining, repairing and/or replacing, including but not limited to the grass, landscaping and irrigation system located on all of the Lots attributable to a Neighborhood; (c) all utility charges and other taxes on Association-owned property attributable to a Neighborhood; (d) the cost of the Association’s performance of all obligations imposed upon the Association by this Declaration, the Association’s Articles of Incorporation, the Association’s Bylaws attributable to a Neighborhood; (e) operating costs of the Association attributable to a Neighborhood; (f) costs and fees of accountants, attorneys and other professionals retained by the Board of Directors to serve, represent or advise the Association attributable to a Neighborhood and (g) costs of irrigation water furnished to Lots. Neighborhood Expenses are a component of the Common Expenses, but rather than being charged to all Owners in the Property, they are charged to the applicable Neighborhood. The Board of Directors, in its reasonable discretion, shall determine which expenses of the Association shall be charged as a Neighborhood Expense or a Common Expense. Neighborhood Expenses will vary among the various Neighborhoods, as determined by the Board of Directors, in its reasonable discretion.

Examples of Neighborhood Expense in a sentence

  • In the event of an insured loss, the deductible shall be treated as a Common Expense or a Neighborhood Expense in the same manner as the premiums for the applicable insurance coverage.

  • All costs associated with maintenance, repair, and replacement of Exclusive Common Areas shall be a Neighborhood Expense assessed as a Neighborhood Assessment solely against the Units within the Neighborhood or Neighborhoods to which the Exclusive Common Areas are assigned, notwithstanding that the Association may be responsible for performing such maintenance hereunder.

  • Such budget shall include a capital contribution establishing a reserve fund for repair and replacement of capital items maintained as a Neighborhood Expense, if any, within the Neighborhood.

  • The Board of Directors, in its reasonable discretion, shall determine which expenses of the Association shall be charged as a Neighborhood Expense or a Common Expense.

  • The Board shall include in the Common Expense budget adopted pursuant to Section 8.1 or the Neighborhood Expense budgets adopted pursuant to Section 8.2, as appropriate, a capital contribution to fund reserves in an amount sufficient to meet the projected need with respect both to amount and timing by annual contributions over the budget period.

  • Such budget shall include a capital contribution establishing a reserve fund for repair and replacement for capital items maintained as a Neighborhood Expense, if any, within the Neighborhood.

  • It is considered to be more relevant than LOS measures, particularly in freeway conditions.

  • The fact that a Common Area may abut a Neighborhood does not mean that such Common Area serves only such Neighborhood and thus such Common Area may be assessed as a Common Expense, as opposed to a Neighborhood Expense.

  • The Board shall prepare and review at least annually a reserve budget for the Area of Common Responsibility and for each Neighborhood for which the Association maintains capital items as a Neighborhood Expense.

  • All costs associated with maintenance, repair, replacement, and insurance of ·an Exclusive Common Area shall be a Neighborhood Expense allocated among the Owners in the Neighborhood(s) to which the Exclusive Common Areas are assigned.

Related to Neighborhood Expense

  • Neighborhood means either of the following:

  • Neighborhood electric vehicle means a self-propelled

  • Campground means that term as defined in section 12501 of the public health code, Act No. 368 of the Public Acts of 1978, being section 333.12501 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, except that campground does not include land or sites operated by this state or the federal government, and does not include a membership campground.

  • Transit village means a community with a bus, train, light rail,

  • Historic building means a building, including its structural components, that is located in this state and that is either individually listed on the national register of historic places under 16 U.S.C. 470a, located in a registered historic district, and certified by the state historic preservation officer as being of historic significance to the district, or is individually listed as an historic landmark designated by a local government certified under 16 U.S.C. 470a(c).

  • Transient lodging means a room or a suite of rooms.

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility means an institution or part thereof that is licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the State of Florida, and is accredited as a Skilled Nursing Facility by The Joint Commission or recognized as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States under Medicare.

  • Rehabilitation Hospital means an Institution which mainly provides therapeutic and restorative services to Sick or Injured people. It is recognized as such if:

  • Historic property means any prehistoric or historic site, district, building, object, or other real or personal property of historical, architectural, or archaeological value, and folklife resources. These properties or resources may include, but are not limited to, monuments, memorials, Indian habitations, ceremonial sites, abandoned settlements, sunken or abandoned ships, engineering works, treasure trove, artifacts, or other objects with intrinsic historical or archaeological value, or any part thereof, relating to the history, government, and culture of Florida.

  • Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.

  • Hotel means any establishment used for the purpose of temporary, overnight lodging for which a fee is paid and reservations are required.

  • Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation means the “Base Flood Elevation” plus the “Freeboard”. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) have been determined, this elevation shall be the BFE plus two (2) feet of freeboard. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where no BFE has been established, this elevation shall be at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade.

  • Centers means the international agricultural and natural resources research centers that are members of the Consortium; and each a “Center”.

  • Basic Comprehensive User Guide means the Ministry document titled Basic Comprehensive Certificates of Approval (Air) User Guide” dated April 2004 as amended.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Nursing facility means an institution as defined in Iowa Code chapter 135C. This definition does not include acute care settings.

  • Tidal Flood Hazard Area means a flood hazard area in which the flood elevation resulting from the two-, 10-, or 100-year storm, as applicable, is governed by tidal flooding from the Atlantic Ocean. Flooding in a tidal flood hazard area may be contributed to, or influenced by, stormwater runoff from inland areas, but the depth of flooding generated by the tidal rise and fall of the Atlantic Ocean is greater than flooding from any fluvial sources. In some situations, depending upon the extent of the storm surge from a particular storm event, a flood hazard area may be tidal in the 100-year storm, but fluvial in more frequent storm events.

  • operating site means a site, other than an aerodrome, selected by the operator or pilot-in-command or commander for landing, take-off and/or external load operations;

  • CREFC® Significant Insurance Event Template A report substantially in the form of, and containing the information called for in, the downloadable form of the “Interest Significant Insurance Event Template” available as of the Closing Date on the CREFC® Website, or such other form for the presentation of such information and containing such additional information as may from time to time be approved by the CREFC® for commercial mortgage securities transactions generally.

  • Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA means the land in the floodplain subject to a one percent (1%) or greater chance of being flooded in any given year, as determined in Article 3, Section B of this ordinance.

  • Condominium Property means the lands, leaseholds, and personal property that are subjected to condominium ownership, whether or not contiguous, and all improvements thereon and all easements and rights appurtenant thereto intended for use in connection with the condominium.

  • Assisted living facility means any congregate residential setting that provides or coordinates

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • PIDs shall have the meaning set forth in Exhibit B.
