Nuclear Laws definition

Nuclear Laws means all applicable Federal, state, local, provincial, foreign and international civil and criminal Laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, decrees, judgments, directives, or judicial or administrative orders relating to the regulation of nuclear power plants, source material, byproduct material and special nuclear materials (as defined in the Atomic Energy Act); the regulation of Low Level Waste and High Level Waste; the transportation and storage of Nuclear Materials; the regulation of safeguards information; the regulation of nuclear fuel; the enrichment of uranium; the disposal and storage of High Level Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel; contracts for any payments into the Nuclear Waste Fund; and as applicable, the antitrust laws and the Federal Trade Commission Act to specified activities or proposed activities of certain licenses of commercial nuclear reactors, but shall not include Environmental Laws. “Nuclear Laws” include the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (42 U.S.C. Section 2011 et seq.); the Xxxxx-Xxxxxxxx Act (Section 170 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended); the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. Section 5801 et seq.); Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material Implementation Act of 1982 (Public Law 97-351; 96 Stat. 1663); the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. Section 2429 et seq.); the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978 (22 U.S.C. Section 3201); the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Act (42 U.S.C. Section 2021b et seq.); the Nuclear Waste Policy Act, (42 U.S.C. Section 10101 et seq., as amended); the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Amendments Act of 1985 (42 U.S.C. Section 2021d, 471); the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (4 U.S.C. Section 13201 et seq.); and any applicable state or local Laws analogous to the foregoing.

  • To the Knowledge of Seller and ENVY,each of ENVY and ENOI is in compliance in all material respects with all Nuclear Laws and all orders, rules, regulations or decisions of the NRC applicable to it, except as set forth in Section 4.18(a) of the Seller Disclosure Schedule.

Section 2429 et seq.); (f) the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978 (22 U.S.C. Section 3201); (g) the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Act (42 U.S.C. Section 2021b et seq.); (h) the Nuclear Waste Policy Act; (i) the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Amendments Act of 1985 (42 U.S.C.
