NYU Research Project means the investigations at NYU during the Research Period into the Field under the supervision of the NYU Scientist in accordance with the research program, described in annexed Appendix II, which forms an integral part hereof.

Examples of NYU Research Project in a sentence

  • All students and employees of NYU who work on the NYU Research Project will do so as employees or students of NYU, and not as employees of CORPORATION.

  • Except as provided herein, neither NYU nor CORPORATION will issue public announcements about this Agreement or the status or existence of the NYU Research Project without prior written approval of the other party.

  • NYU will have full authority and responsibility for the NYU Research Project.

  • If, during the Research Period the NYU Scientist shall cease to supervise the NYU Research Project, then NYU shall promptly so notify CORPORATION and shall endeavor to find among the scientists of NYU a Scientist acceptable to CORPORATION to continue the supervision of the NYU Research Project.

  • In consideration of the sums to be paid to NYU as set forth in Section 4 below, NYU undertakes to perform the NYU Research Project under the supervision of the NYU Scientists during the Research Period.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be interpreted to prohibit NYU (or the NYU Scientist) from obtaining additional financing or research grants for the NYU Research Project from government agencies, which grants or financing may render all or part of the NYU Research Project and the results thereof subject to the patent rights of the U.S. Government and its agencies, as set forth in Title 35 U.S.C. ss.200 et seq.

  • If, during the Research Period all of the NYU Scientists shall cease to supervise the NYU Research Project, then NYU shall promptly so notify INI and INI shall have the option to terminate its funding of the NYU Research Project.

  • The NYU Scientist shall prepare semi-annual reports within thirty (30) days after the end of each six month period after the Effective Date, summarizing the results of the work conducted on the NYU Research Project during such six-month period.

  • At mutually agreed upon times, representatives of CORPORATION may meet with the NYU Scientist to review and discuss the conduct and results of the NYU Research Project.

Related to NYU Research Project

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

  • Development Work means any work carried out in relation to the physical construction of a mine;

  • Research Budget has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Research facility means buildings and structures, including machinery and equipment, used or to be used primarily for research or experimentation to improve or develop new tangible goods or materials or to improve or develop the production processes thereto.

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.

  • Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Research Period means the research period as described in the Commissioned Research Plan. In accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, in the event that the Agreement ended prior to the completion date of the research originally set, the date the Agreement ends shall be read as the research period.

  • Development Team means the entities and professionals assembled to develop and manage the Project, typically including the Applicant, Owner, Developer(s), Co-Developer(s) and general partner or any other related entities in which the Developer or Co-Developer has an identity of interest or a Controlling Interest.

  • Collaboration Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(h).

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Clinical Trials means a controlled study in humans of the safety or efficacy of a Product, and includes, without limitation, such clinical trials as are designed to support expanded labeling or to satisfy the requirements of an Agency in connection with any Product Approval and any other human study used in research and Development of a Product.
