Office workplace means any en- closed nonmanufacturing indoor area, located in a building of more than 4,000 square feet, and in which 50 or more employees, as de- fined in ORS 654.005 spend any part of their working hours.
Office workplace means any enclosed area of a structure or portion thereof intended for occupancy by business or governmental entities which provide primarily clerical, professional, or business services of the business entity, or which provide primarily clerical, professional or business services to other business entities or to the public, at that location. "Office workplace" includes, but is not limited to, office spaces in office buildings, medical offices, libraries, museums, hospitals, and nursing homes and all other entities included in definitions E. and F. of this Section, but excluding:

Office workplace is the official work site of the department, which is the usual and customary location of the department’s offices or an alternate location as set forth in the terms and conditions of this agreement. The employee agrees to perform his/her assigned duties for the department as a “teleworker.” The employee agrees that teleworking may be voluntary and may be terminated at the discretion of the department. The employee may request to terminate participation by written request submitted thirty (30) days in advance. The employee’s request to return to performing job duties at the office workplace will be dependent not only on the willingness of the department to decrease the agency’s telework commitment, but also on the availability of space and equipment at the office workplace. Other than those duties and obligations expressly imposed on the employee under this Agreement, the duties, obligations, responsibilities and conditions of the employee’s employment with the department remain unchanged as a result of entering into this Agreement. The employee’s salary and participation in employee pension, benefits, and state-sponsored insurance plans shall remain unchanged so long as the hours worked remain unchanged.
