Operations Liaison. As described in Section 3.18, the person or persons designated by the Requesting Party to provide direct contact, communications and coordination at the operations level for Assisting Party’s crews and resources at the location of the assistance. This may include but is not limited to: contact and communications for assisting crews, safety information processes and procedures, ensuring coordination of lodging and meals, addressing issues of Equipment requirements, materials requirements, and other logistical issues necessary to ensure safe effective working conditions.

Training and qualification standards vary by state or province and are the responsibility of the Requesting Party to evaluate, in advance, the acceptable level of qualification for trade employees (i.e. lineman, electrician, fitter, etc.).
