Persons in Housing Need definition

Persons in Housing Need means persons with identified Housing Need who cannot afford to access accommodation through the regular functioning of the housing market, whether for rental or other home ownership tenures;
Persons in Housing Need means a person or persons registered on the City Council’s Housing Needs Register and the use in this Agreement of the termPerson in Housing Need” shall be construed accordingly; “Protected Tenant” means any tenant who has: (a) exercised the right to acquire pursuant to the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 Act or any statutory provision for the time being in force (or any equivalent contractual right) in respect of a particular Affordable Rented Dwelling; or (b) exercised any statutory right to buy (or any equivalent contractual right) in respect of a particular Affordable Rented Dwelling; or (c) exercised a contractual right to acquire a one hundred percent (100%) interest in the lease of a Shared Ownership Dwelling and for the avoidance of any doubt the term “Protected Tenants” shall include successors in title to the tenant referred to above; “Regulator of Social Housing” means the public body set up to fund and regulate the provision of Affordable Housing (as defined in the NPPF) in England and any successor body;
Persons in Housing Need means a person or persons registered on the District Council’s Choice Based Lettings Scheme and the use in this Agreement of the termPerson in Housing Need” shall be construed accordingly;

Persons in Housing Need means persons with identified housing needs that would not be met by the normal operation of the housing market in terms of criteria set by the Council from time to time for low cost home ownership housing, mid rent housing and social rented housing or such other type of affordable housing units that may be agreed by the Council to constitute affordable housing tenure;

  • Persons with Special Needs means Person with special needs as defined in Section 420.0004(13), F.S.

  • Mutual housing corporation means a corporation not-for-profit,

  • Persons with disabilities means persons who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others;

  • Elderly Housing means housing intended for and only occupied by Elderly persons including a family in which all members are Elderly. All household members must be Elderly (no children, and no disabled persons under the age of 62).

  • Supportive housing means housing with no limit on length of stay, that is occupied by the target population, and that is linked to an onsite or offsite service that assists the supportive housing resident in retaining the housing, improving his or her health status, and maximizing his or her ability to live and, when possible, work in the community.

  • Related Bodies Corporate has the meaning given to that term in the Corporations Xxx 0000 (Cth).

  • Fair Housing Act means the Fair Housing Act, as amended.

  • Multifamily housing means housing accommodations designed as a residence for more than 1 family.

  • Incest means sexual intercourse between persons who are related to each other within the degrees wherein marriage is prohibited by law.

  • Multi-family housing means a building or structure that is designed to house two (2) or more different households in separate housing Units which have full kitchen facilities including oven/range, refrigerator, kitchen sink with hot and cold water supply and food storage facilities and at least one (1) full bathroom facility(s), one (1) full bedroom and one (1) living area (including a combination thereof such as studio arrangements).

  • Child-headed household means a household where the main caregiver of the said household is younger than 18 years of age. Child-headed household means a household headed by a child as defined in terms of section 28(3) of the Constitution.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Boathouse (NR 115.03(1h)) means a permanent structure used for the storage of watercraft and associated materials and includes all structures which are totally enclosed, have roofs or walls or any combination of these structural parts.

  • Building or housing code means any law, ordinance or governmental regulation concerning fitness

  • Rental housing means development of a building or structure with four or more dwelling units all of which are intended for use as rented residential premises;

  • FIFA means the Fédération Internationale de Football Association.

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.
