Price Index definition

Price Index means the Consumer Price Index which is designated for the applicable month of determination as the United States City Average for All Urban Consumers, All Items, Not Seasonally Adjusted, with a base period equaling 100 in 1982 - 1984, as published by the United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics or any successor agency. In the event that the Price Index ceases to be published, its successor index measuring cost of living as published by the same Governmental Authority which published the Price Index shall be substituted and any necessary reasonable adjustments shall be made by Lessor and Lessee in order to carry out the intent of Section 4.
Price Index means the "Consumer Price Index" published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor, All Items. New York, N.Y.--Northeastern, N.J., all urban consumers (presently denominated "CPI-U"), or a successor or substitute index appropriately adjusted. (iii) the term "Price Index for the Base Year" shall mean the average of the monthly All Items Price Indexes for each of the 12 months of the Base Year.

Price Index means the "Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers-All Items (CPI-U) U.S. City Average (1982-84=100)" issued from time to time by the Bureau. In the event the Price Index shall hereafter be converted to a different standard reference base or otherwise revised, the determination of the increase in the Price Index shall be made with the use of such conversion factor, formula or table as may be published by Prenxxxx-Xxxx, Xxc. or failing such publication, by another nationally recognized publisher of similar statistical information. In the event the Price Index shall cease to be published, then, for the purposes of this paragraph 4C there shall be substituted for the Price Index such other index as the Landlord and the Tenant shall agree upon, and if they are unable to agree within sixty (60) days after the Price Index ceases to be published, such matter shall be determined by arbitration in accordance with the Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Price Index means the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Consumer Price Index U.S. City Averages, all Urban Consumers, All Items, 1982-84 = 100. If the manner in which the Price Index as determined by the Department of Labor shall be substantially revised, or if the 1982-84 average shall no longer be used as an index of 100, an adjustment shall be made in such revised index so that the number used shall be that which would have been obtained if the Price Index had not been so revised or if said average was still in use. If the Price Index shall become unavailable for any reason whatsoever, the parties will substitute therefor a comparable index based upon changes in the cost of living or purchasing power of the consumer dollar published by another governmental agency or, if no such index shall then be available, a comparable index published by a major bank or other financial institution.
Price Index means the index for all urban consumers, San Francisco Bay Area Average, as published by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, or in the event such index is discontinued, any comparable index.
Price Index means the value of the United States Industrial Goods Producer Price Index reported for the first time for the year or, for purposes of clauses 4.7 and 22.5, the month in question in the monthly publication of the International Monetary Fund known as the “International Financial Statistics” in the section titled “Prices, Production, Employment”;
