Continuation of group coverage while on leave Employers are responsible to ensure compliance with state and federal laws regarding leaves of absence, including the California Family Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act, and Labor Code requirements for Medical Disability.
