Recreational Camping Area definition

Recreational Camping Area. Means any area, whether privately or publicly owned, used on a daily, nightly, weekly, or longer basis for the accommodation of five or more tents, or recreational camping vehicles free of charge or for compensation.

Recreational camping area excludes children’s camps, industrial camps, migrant labor camps, as defined in Minnesota Statutes and state commissioner of health rules, United States Forest Service camps, state forest service camps, state wildlife management areas or state-owned public access areas which are restricted in use to picnicking and boat landing, temporary holding areas for self-contained recreational camping vehicles created by and adjacent to motor sports facilities, if the chief law enforcement officer of an affected jurisdiction determines that it is in the interest of public safety to provide a temporary holding area, and a privately owned area used for camping no more than once a year and for no longer than seven consecutive days by members of a private club where the members pay annual dues to belong to the club.

  • Whenever the Department finds that an emergency exists which requires immediate action to protect the public health, welfare, and safety, it may, without hearing, issue an order reciting the existence of such an emergency and require that such action be taken as it deems necessary to meet the emergency, including immediate closure of the Recreational Camping Area.

  • A license for a new or remodeled Recreational Camping Area shall not be issued until after written approval has been issued from the local unit of government.

  • Owning or operating a Recreational Camping Area without submitting an application for a license is a violation of this Ordinance and subject to prosecution as provided herein.

  • If an operation inspection cannot be completed within 90 days of license issuance, due to inactivity at the Recreational Camping Area, the license may be suspended until such Recreational Camping Area- related activities commence.

Related to Recreational Camping Area

  • Recreational Facilities means spas, saunas, steam baths, swimming pools, exercise, entertainment, athletic, playground or other similar equipment and associated accessories.

  • Recreational area means areas, excluding private single family residential areas, designated for active play, recreation or public assembly in parks, sports fields, picnic grounds, amphitheaters or golf course tees, fairways, roughs, surrounds and greens.

  • Service Areas means those areas within the Building used for stairs, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks, pipe shafts and other vertical penetrations (but shall not include any such areas for the exclusive use of a particular tenant).

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Passenger area means the area designed to seat the driver and passengers while a motor vehicle is in operation and any area that is readily accessible to the driver or a passenger while in his or her seating position, including but not limited to any type of glove or storage compartment accessible to passengers or driver.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor, area of an Flat/Apartment, excluding the area covered by the external walls, areas under services shafts, excluding balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the flat/apartment;

  • Recreational trail means a trail, lane, path, road, or other right of way that because of its scenic, wild, or topographical nature, has as its primary purpose recreational use of the trail itself.

  • Park model recreational vehicle means a unit that:

  • Camping trailer means every vehicle that has collapsible sides and contains sleeping quarters but

  • Recreational vehicle park means any tract of land used for parking five or more self-contained recreational vehicles and includes any roadway, building, structure, vehicle, or enclosure used or intended for use as part of the park facilities and any tract of land that is subdivided for lease or other contract of the individual lots for the express or implied purpose of placing self-contained recreational vehicles for recreation, vacation, or business purposes.
