Rehearsal Week is a Monday through Sunday week. The EMPLOYER and AGMA agree that a Rehearsal Week will consist of six
Rehearsal Week. The term “Rehearsal Week” shall mean a week commencing on Monday and ending on Sunday, during which rehearsals are conducted but no performances are given.

More Definitions of Rehearsal Week

Rehearsal Week means a Monday through Sunday week. The Employer and AGMA agree that a Rehearsal Week will consist of five (5) days of rehearsal plus two (2) Free Days. The Employer shall schedule Rehearsal Weeks on a five (5) day basis. For each eight (8) weeks of employment, the Employer may schedule one (1) 6-day rehearsal week prior to a performance week. The limit of thirty (30) hours per week and five (5) hours per day shall prevail in all such 6-day weeks. Rehearsal Weeks need not be consecutive.

Rehearsal Week means a Sunday through Saturday week. The ATLANTA BALLET and AGMA agree that a Rehearsal Week willconsist of five (5) days of rehearsal plus two (2) consecutive Free Days, except as provided for in Paragraph 25 (f). Rehearsal Weeks need not be consecutive.

It is agreed that during Rehearsal Weeks rehearsals will be scheduled for a continuous period of six and one-half (6 ½) hours between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for up to six (6) hours of service per day and thirty (30) hours of service per week. Upon at least four (4) weeks notice on no more than six (6) occasions per contract year, however, Rehearsal hours may be rescheduled between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. On no more than two (2) occasions per contract year, Rehearsal hours may be rescheduled outside of the period between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

STAGE DIRECTOR – an individual engaged to create and direct the staging for productions according to the design concept as agreed by Management. Stage Directors are paid on a per production or weekly basis. SOLO SINGER – a singing artist engaged to perform leading, featured, supporting and/or solo bit roles. Solo Singers are paid on a per performance or weekly basis. SPEAKING PERFORMANCE/NARRATOR – an artist engaged to perform leading, featured, supporting and/or solo bit speaking roles. Speaking Performance /Narrators are paid on a per performance or weekly basis. STAGE MANAGER – an individual engaged to stage manage and “call” the production. Stage Managers are paid on a weekly basis. TECHNICAL REHEARSAL – an onstage rehearsal without orchestra in which large segments of an opera or an entire opera are rehearsed, in the nature of a work-through. All performers who appear in scenes rehearsed are expected to be present at a technical rehearsal.
