Rehearsal Hours. Where reasonable the Company will schedule rehearsals excluding final stage and orchestra and dress rehearsals within the following times:
(a) morning rehearsals: starting no earlier than 10.00 and finishing no later than 14.00;
(b) afternoon rehearsals starting no earlier than 14.00 and finishing no later than 18.00;
(c) evening rehearsals starting no earlier than 18.00 and finishing no later than 22.00. provided that the Company will use reasonable endeavours to start morning rehearsals no earlier than 10.30 unless the earlier time is necessary to meet the Company’s production and/or technical requirements.

Rehearsal Hours. (a) Prior to First Paid Public Performance. Except as provided below, Artists shall not rehearse more than six (6) out of seven (7) consecutive days. Rehearsal hours shall not exceed Six (6) out of seven (7) consecutive hours per day (including breaks required by Section 43(D)(2)(a) below).
Rehearsal Hours. (1) During MANAGEMENT’S thirteen (13) week summer opera season, APPRENTICE ARTISTS may not rehearse more than six (6) hours per day and not more than thirty (30) hours per week in the first nine (9) weeks of the summer opera season.
(2) During all rehearsal and performance weeks there must be at least a thirty-minute rest period after three consecutive hours of rehearsal, during which no rehearsal or costume fittings for “Apprentice Scenes” may be scheduled. Rehearsals for “Apprentice Scenes” count toward the three-hour maximum for the purpose of ensuring the break time outlined in Paragraph 26.H only. For any run-through rehearsals that exceed three hours and include regular breaks, the aforementioned thirty-minute rest period can be delayed until the conclusion of such rehearsal.
Rehearsal Hours. 1. During MANAGEMENT’S twelve (12) week summer opera season, APPRENTICE ARTISTS may not rehearse more than six (6) hours per day and not more than thirty (30) hours per week in the first eight (8) weeks of the summer opera season.
2. During all rehearsal and performance weeks there must be at least a thirty minute rest period after three consecutive hours of rehearsal during which no rehearsal or costume fittings for “Apprentice Scenes” may be scheduled. Rehearsals for “Apprentice Scenes” count toward the three hour maximum for the purpose of meal breaks only.
3. Any change to the daily rehearsal schedule must be posted by 5 pm the day before. When changes occur after 5 PM, Apprentice Singers will be credited for originally scheduled time or time actually worked, whichever is greatest.
4. Hours which exceed the above amounts shall be compensated at the following rate per hour. Such overtime compensation shall be computed in quarter (1/4) hour segments. Any hours which exceed the above amounts shall be compensated at the rate set forth in Paragraph 31(c). Overtime compensation shall be computed in quarter hour (1/4) segments. In addition, the MANAGEMENT may have credit for four (4) hours of additional rehearsal time without compensation if an Apprentice Artists performs less than four (4) times per week. These hours may not be cumulatively applied.

The Sanctuary can also be used for a rehearsal at a different date and time, so long as it is coordinated with IWC at the same time the date of the wedding/funeral, or event is secured by the signing of this agreement. Rehearsal Hours. If an Extra is called for rehearsals during the first two (2) weeks after the opening, he/she shall be paid in accordance with the overtime rate set forth in Clause 1414 for such rehearsals.

Notwithstanding the above, any member of such group or ensemble may speak a few lines, sing, do a dance routine alone, or portray a character known by a special name, provided that such solo work is only incidental to the group or ensemble work and further provided that the part does not call for a substantially different from the performances given by the others of the group or ensemble.
