Return from Reemployment. The employee’s previous salary eligibility date, adjusted by the amount of break-in- service, shall represent the earliest salary eligibility date following return. However, the salary eligibility date may be established as the first of the month in any future month up to twelve (12) months from the date of reemployment.

Return from Reemployment. When a former employee is reemployed to a position in the same class in which the employee was previously employed or in a related class with the same salary range, the employee may be paid at or below the step at which the employee was being paid at the time of termination. If an employee is reemployed in a position in a class with a lower salary range than that of the employee's previous position, the employee may be paid at any step in the lower salary range not exceeding the rate the employee was being paid in the higher class, except where exceptional circumstances justify payment of a higher rate.   • Return from Leave (a) On return from leave, an employee will be placed in their former position.

  • Return from Leaves An Employee returning from a leave of absence shall return to his/her former position and location he/she held at the time of the leave unless he/she has been laid off or displaced in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • Return from Leave of Absence (a) Before a Nurse may return to work from a leave granted under Article 9.00, she or he must provide a minimum of four (4) weeks written notice of the specific date of his or her return to work, or such shorter time as mutually agreed.

  • Returning from Leave Employees returning early from leave of absence must submit a request to return to work in writing. Employees returning from a medical leave of absence may be required to certify their ability to return to work at least five (5) working days prior to the requested date of the return. Employees returning early from leave must wait for the next available job opening. Employees returning on the planned date will be placed in the position they left, or an equivalent position.

  • Reemployment Former state employees who are reemployed within five (5) years of leaving state service will be granted all unused and unpaid sick leave credits they had at separation. If an employee is reemployed after retiring from state service, when the employee subsequently retires or dies, only unused sick leave accrued since the date of reemployment minus sick leave taken within the same period will be eligible for sick leave separation cash out, in accordance with 12.7 above.

  • Separation from Employment Employees who leave the District with a vacation balance shall have their vacation balance cashed out. If vacation is loaded on July 1st, the vacation balance shall be pro-rated prior to cash out.

  • Exemption from Liability A Member or a Specified Corporate User may not for any reason seek compensation from DBS for suffering damages arising from either because the use of or inability to use the bicycle.
