Reemployment definition

Reemployment means taking a position with the City following a break in continuous service.

Reemployment means a noncompetitive appointment of a current or former employee to a class for which the employee has reemployment rights because of military service, layoff, a permanent disability arising from a work-related injury or illness, seasonal separation, reallocation, or reclassification of the position to a lower salary grade. “Regular Day Off (RDO)” is an employee’s assigned day off.
