Severance Benefit Period definition

Severance Benefit Period means a period of twelve (12) months following the Termination Date.
Severance Benefit Period means the seventy (70) week period following the Termination Date.

  • For the balance of any period in excess of the applicable Severance Benefit Period during which the Participant is entitled to continuation coverage under COBRA, the Participant shall be entitled to maintain coverage for himself or herself and the Participant’s eligible dependents at the Participant’s own expense.

  • In the event that either the Change in Control Severance Benefit Period exceeds the maximum continuation coverage period permissible under COBRA or such coverage is not available for any other reason, the Company shall reimburse Executive directly for the expenses incurred by him or her or his or her dependents, if any, to obtain substantially similar benefits during the remainder of the Change in Control Severance Benefit Period.

  • At the end of the Severance Benefit Period, vesting shall cease and Employee shall have 90 days thereafter to exercise all stock options that are vested at the end of the Severance Benefit Period.

  • Choice will not contest Employee’s claim for unemployment benefits after the Severance Benefit Period.

  • The Company's obligation to perform the obligations listed in subsections (a) and (b) of this Section will not be reduced by the Executive's employment by another employer during the Severance Benefit Period, and the Executive shall have no obligation to mitigate damages by seeking such employment.


More Definitions of Severance Benefit Period

Severance Benefit Period means the period of time during which Severance Benefits are payable to, or on behalf of, a particular Participant (as applicable), if that Participant otherwise qualifies for Severance Benefits pursuant to the provisions of this Plan.
Severance Benefit Period means (1) with respect to a Participant who is an Executive Officer, a period of twelve (12) months and (2) with respect to a Participant who is a Key Employee, a period of six (6) months or such longer period as is approved by the Board and set forth in the Participation Agreement.
Severance Benefit Period means the 6 or 12 calendar months following the date of termination of the Executive’s employment, depending on the Executive’s length of service with the Company. Where the Executive’s length of service with the Company is at least 6 months but not longer than 24 months, the “Severance Benefit Period” will be 6 months. Where such length of service is longer than 24 months, the “Severance Benefit Period” will be 12 months.
