Severity 3 Defect definition

Severity 3 Defect means a software issue that has a minor impact on the quality and appeal of the service.
Severity 3 Defect. A failure of a system or part thereof which has a minor impact on a State business process and can be handled on a non-immediate basis. Examples may include user requests (e.g., a report is not formatted correctly) and peripheral problems (e.g., output fails to print properly). Severity 3 Defect means an immaterial defect which causes only a minor impact or which is cosmetic in nature.

Severity 3 Defect means an incident where the State’s Software or Processing Error that results in a partial or intermittent system outage or unavailability, performance items that result in periodic, but not otherwise undue delay of processing business cycle data and creation without the creation of a processing backlog that spans a business cycle, system performance and availability levels not adhering to agreed-upon performance parameters, the State’s traditional performance levels, and generally accepted and customary industry standards for similar functions or capabilities, errors or omissions in the software, related software elements, operational processes or software integration suite for which a workaround exists, but have been reported to and accepted by the Contractor, an acceptable State agreed workaround has been identified and implemented, temporary workaround identified with State acceptable processing, hardware, labor or other considerations, maybe a recurring problem with identified or indeterminate cause, and items otherwise not classified as a Severity 1 or Severity 2 Defect.
Severity 3 Defect means any Defect which is not considered as a Severity 1 Defect or a Severity 2 Defect. Response Time: for any Defect the Response Time is the time between the notification by End User of the Defect and the first return made by Astadia. Business Hours: North American Support from 9.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m ET on Working Days, excluding Federal Holidays. European Support from 9.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m CET on Working Days, excluding Belgian Holidays. Working Days: Monday to Friday, with the exception of Belgian public holidays. Target Correction Time: refers to the period within which Astadia will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the Defect as described in the Service Levels below.
