Examples of Site of the work in a sentence
The tenderer must obtain for himself on his own responsibility and at his own expenses all the information which may be necessary for the purpose of making a Tender and for entering into a Contract and must examine the Drawings and must inspect the Site of the work and acquaint himself with all local conditions, means of access to the work, nature of the work and all matters appertaining thereto.
Provided that the Contractor shall be paid the charges on the cartage only of materials actually and bonafide brought to the Site of the work by the Contractor and rendered surplus as a result of the abandonment or curtailment of the work or any portion thereof and then taken back by the Contractor, provided however, that the Engineer-In-Charge shall have in all such cases the option of taking over all or any such materials at their purchase price or at local current rates whichever may be less.
