Stepped Rate Period definition

Stepped Rate Period means each period during which the Bonds bear interest at the Stepped Rate, which shall commence on a mandatory tender date that is rescinded for such Bonds in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.03(g) or Section 4.08, as applicable, and shall continue through a subsequent redemption, conversion or remarketing of such Bonds in accordance with the provisions of this Order.
Stepped Rate Period means the period of time commencing on the mandatory tender date described in Sections 4.04 and 4.10 and continuing through a subsequent remarketing or redemption of the Bonds.
Stepped Rate Period means the period of time commencing on the mandatory tender date described in Section 4.02(e) and Section 4.04 and continuing through a subsequent remarketing or redemption of the Subseries 2019C-2 Bonds.

Examples of Stepped Rate Period in a sentence

  • Bonds bearing interest at the Stepped Rate during the Stepped Rate Period and Purchased Bonds are subject to redemption, in whole or in part, at the option of the District, on any Business Day at a redemption price equal to the principal amount thereof plus interest accrued thereon at the Stepped Rate or the Bank Rate, as applicable, to the redemption date.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Remarketing Agent fails to remarket all of the Bonds on the mandatory tender date(s) following the end of the Initial Rate Period(s) resulting in the Owners thereof retaining the Bonds subsequent to the end of the Initial Rate Period, the Bonds shall bear interest at the Stepped Rate for the duration of the Stepped Rate Period, all as set forth in Section 4.08 of this Order.

  • Prior to the Fixed Rate Conversion Date, Bonds, other than (i) Purchased Bonds, (ii) Bonds bearing interest at the Initial Rate during the Initial Rate Period, and (iii) Bonds bearing interest at the Stepped Rate during the Stepped Rate Period, are subject to redemption at the option of the District, in whole or in part, at a redemption price equal to the principal amount thereof plus interest accrued thereon to the redemption date, on any Interest Payment Date.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Remarketing Agent fails to remarket the Subseries 2019C-2 Bonds, resulting in the holders thereof retaining such Subseries 2019C-2 Bonds subsequent to the end of the Initial Rate Period, those Subseries 2019C-2 Bonds shall bear interest at the Stepped Rate for the duration of the Stepped Rate Period.

  • If, at the expiration of the then-applicable Term Rate Period, there occurs a failed remarketing of the type described in Section 4.02(e) hereto, then all of the Outstanding Subseries 2019C-2 Bonds shall bear interest at the Stepped Rate for the duration of the Stepped Rate Period.

  • If, at the expiration of the then-applicable Term Rate Period, there does not exist a Liquidity Agreement providing liquidity support for Bonds then Outstanding and there occurs a failed remarketing of the type described in Section 4.10 hereto, such Bonds shall bear interest at the Stepped Rate for the duration of the Stepped Rate Period.

  • Purchased Bonds and Bonds bearing interest at the Stepped Rate during the Stepped Rate Period are subject to redemption, in whole or in part, at the option of the District, on any Business Day, at a redemption price equal to the principal amount thereof plus interest (including any unpaid Special Interest) accrued thereon at the Purchased Bond Rate (calculated in accordance with Section 3.05 hereof) or the Stepped Rate, as the case may be, to the redemption date.

Related to Stepped Rate Period

  • Fixed Rate Period shall have the meaning in the form of Security set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Floating Rate Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(b) hereof.

  • Initial Fixed Rate Period means the period commencing on the Issue Date and ending on and including June 30, 2020.

  • Subsequent Rate Period means, with respect to any Series of RVMTP Shares, the period consisting of seven calendar days, but adjusted in each case to reflect any changes when the regular calendar day that is a Rate Determination Date is not a Business Day, from, and including, the first calendar day following the Initial Rate Period of such Series to, and including, the next Rate Determination Date for such Series and any period thereafter from, and including, the first calendar day following a Rate Determination Date for shares of such Series to, and including, the next succeeding Rate Determination Date for shares of such Series.

  • Quarterly Floating Rate Period means, for the initial Quarterly Floating Rate Period, the period commencing on September 20, 2018 and ending on and including December 19, 2018, and thereafter the period from and including the day immediately following the end of the immediately preceding Quarterly Floating Rate Period to but excluding the next succeeding Quarterly Commencement Date.

  • Rate Period has the meaning set forth in the Statement.

  • Weekly Rate Period means any period of time during which a Group of 2020 Series D Variable Rate Bonds bears interest at the Weekly Rate.

  • Interest Rate Period means any Daily Interest Rate Period, Weekly Interest Rate Period, Short-Term Interest Rate Period, Long- Term Interest Rate Period or ARS Interest Rate Period.

  • Term Rate Period means any period of time during which a Group of 2021 Series J Variable Rate Bonds bears interest at the Term Rate.

  • Pricing Rate Period means, with respect to any Transaction and any Remittance Date (a) in the case of the first Pricing Rate Period, the period commencing on and including the Purchase Date for such Transaction and ending on and excluding the following Remittance Date, and (b) in the case of any subsequent Pricing Rate Period, the period commencing on and including the immediately preceding Remittance Date and ending on and excluding such Remittance Date; provided, however, that in no event shall any Pricing Rate Period for a Purchased Asset end subsequent to the Repurchase Date for such Purchased Asset.

  • Daily Rate Period means a period commencing on one Business Day and extending to, but not including, the next succeeding Business Day, during which Multi-Modal Bonds bear interest at the Daily Rate.

  • Subsequent Fixed Rate Period means for the initial Subsequent Fixed Rate Period, the period commencing on April 1, 2022 and ending on and including March 31, 2027 and for each succeeding Subsequent Fixed Rate Period, the period commencing on the day immediately following the end of the immediately preceding Subsequent Fixed Rate Period and ending on and including March 31 in the fifth year thereafter.

  • Initial Rate Period means, with respect to the VMTP Shares of any Series, the period commencing on and including the Date of Original Issue thereof and ending on, and including, the next succeeding calendar day that is a Wednesday (or if such Wednesday is not a Business Day, the next succeeding Business Day).

  • Floating Rate Calculation Date means, for any Quarterly Floating Rate Period, the 30th day prior to the first day of such Quarterly Floating Rate Period.

  • Base Rate Term SOFR Determination Day has the meaning specified in the definition of “Term SOFR”.

  • Base Rate Term Loan means any portion of the Term Loan during any period in which it bears interest based on the Base Rate.

  • Non-Payment Period Rate means, initially, 200% of the applicable Reference Rate (or 275% of such rate if the Corporation has provided notification to the Auction Agent prior to the Auction establishing the Applicable Rate for any dividend pursuant to paragraph 2(f) hereof that net capital gains or other taxable income will be included in such dividend on shares of AMPS), provided that the Board of Directors of the Corporation shall have the authority to adjust, modify, alter or change from time to time the initial Non-Payment Period Rate if the Board of Directors of the Corporation determines and Moody's and S&P (and any Substitute Rating Agency in lieu of Moody's or S&P in the event either of such parties shall not rate the AMPS) advise the Corporation in writing that such adjustment, modification, alteration or change will not adversely affect their then-current ratings on the AMPS.

  • Fixed Rate Calculation Date means, for any Subsequent Fixed Rate Period, the 30th day prior to the first day of such Subsequent Fixed Rate Period.

  • Reset Period means each period from and including the First Reset Date to but excluding the next following Reset Date and thereafter from and including each Reset Date to but excluding the next following Reset Date;

  • Fixed Rate Term means a period commencing on a Business Day and continuing for 1, 2 or 3 months, as designated by Borrower, during which all or a portion of the outstanding principal balance of this Note bears interest determined in relation to LIBOR; provided however, that no Fixed Rate Term may be selected for a principal amount less than $100,000.00; and provided further, that no Fixed Rate Term shall extend beyond the scheduled maturity date hereof. If any Fixed Rate Term would end on a day which is not a Business Day, then such Fixed Rate Term shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day.

  • SBI 1 Year MCLR Rate means 1 year Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) fixed by State Bank of India (SBI) / any replacement thereof by SBI for the time being in effect applicable for 1 year period, as on 1st April of the respective financial year in accordance with regulations and guidelines of Reserve Bank of India. In absence of such rate, any other arrangement that substitutes such rate as mutually agreed to by the Parties.

  • Reference Rate Determination Date means, in relation to any Reference Rate Business Day(i):

  • Five-year U.S. Treasury Rate means, as of any Reset Interest Determination Date, as applicable, (i) an interest rate (expressed as a decimal) determined to be the per annum rate equal to the arithmetic mean of the five most recent daily yields to maturity for U.S. Treasury securities with a maturity of five years from the next Reset Date and trading in the public securities markets or (ii) if there is no such published U.S. Treasury security with a maturity of five years from the next Reset Date and trading in the public securities markets, then the rate will be determined by interpolation between the arithmetic mean of the five most recent daily yields to maturity for each of the two series of U.S. Treasury securities trading in the public securities market, (A) one maturing as close as possible to, but earlier than, the Reset Date following the next succeeding Reset Interest Determination Date, and (B) the other maturing as close as possible to, but later than, the Reset Date following the next succeeding Reset Interest Determination Date, in each case as published in the most recent H.15. If the Five-year U.S. Treasury Rate cannot be determined pursuant to the methods described in clause (i) or (ii) above, then the Five-year U.S. Treasury Rate will be the same interest rate determined for the prior Reset Interest Determination Date or the same interest rate as the initial Interest Period, 5.875%, if prior to the First Call Date.
