Certified Family Support Worker (CFSW) means Family Peer Support Workers who are primary caregivers and have “lived-experience” of being actively involved in raising a child with emotional, behavioral, mental health and/or substance use challenges.
This indemnification shall include any and all liabilities to the Support Worker for any purpose including, but not limited to, breach of any employment laws in the course of the employment of the Support Worker.
This indemnification shall also include any and all liabilities to any third parties including, but not limited to, any vicarious liability for the actions of the Support Worker related to the employment relationship.
The Personal Support Worker education accreditation is recognized as equivalent to the Health Care Aide Course.
The Committee will also make recommendations regarding Personal Support Worker trainings to the Developmental Disability/Mental Health Committee (DD/MH-C).
