Eligibility for Employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires all employees of U.S. companies to have evidence of identity and authorization to work in the U.S. Executive represents and warrants that Executive has such authorization and will provide the Company with evidence thereof on or before the Effective Date of this Agreement. Executive further acknowledges that the Company may perform a background check on Executive for purposes relating to Executive’s Company employment, after providing written notice to and obtaining written consent from Executive. At all times Company shall comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and any other applicable laws regarding background checks, and Executive agrees that if the results of said background check are unsatisfactory to the Company, the Company may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice, and Executive shall have no further rights or obligations hereunder.

Eligibility for Employment. Crew represents and warrants that Crew and Crew’s independent contractors and employees, if any, are authorized to work in the United States. Crew understands that it is required to strictly adhere to immigration laws, including those forbidding the hiring and continued employment of individuals unauthorized to work in the United States and to fully and timely comply with employment verification procedures. Crew affirms that it complies with all such laws and maintains appropriate records of the same. Crew understands that should it be found not to be in compliance, that Company may cancel this Agreement immediately for cause. Crew acknowledges and agrees that Xxxx is solely responsible for any and all penalties or fines that may be imposed as the result of Crew’s failure to comply with the responsibilities referenced in this Section. Crew will produce records upon request from company or government agency.

On or before the Resident's first day of employment the Resident must present documentation to establish the Resident's identity and employment eligibility and complete an Employment Eligibility Verification form. This appointment is contingent upon Resident's production of such documents and completion of the required form upon Resident's date of hire. In addition, Tulane University participates in the Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify program. This appointment is also contingent on receiving an appropriate authorization from the Department of Homeland Security. I accept the appointment outlined above and agree to all rules and regulations of Tulane University, the School of Medicine and of the affiliation institution/participating sites to which I am assigned. I agree to discharge all the duties of a resident as determined jointly by the affiliated institutions and the respective directors of training programs at Tulane University School of Medicine, and I acknowledge that I have read and understand the institutional policies in the Manual referred to in Paragraph 1.
