Premium Pay Rates. An employee shall be paid one and one-half times the employee’s regular rate of pay for hours actually worked in the following circumstances: 1. All hours actually worked in excess of 40 hours in any work week. 2. All hours actually worked on a holiday recognized under this Agreement.
Premium Pay Rates. The base hourly rates are shown in Appendix B to this agreement. The base hourly rate constitutes the rate which the worker will be paid for all straight-time hours in pay status. This includes hours of work, or paid leave. Premium rates will be paid to workers under specified conditions: Swing Shift: base rate x 1.05 Call back: 3 hours minimum Grave Shift: base rate x 1.12 Standby: $2 per hour standby Overtime: base rate x 1.50 On Call: base rate x .05 Double Time: base rate x 2.00 Lead: base rate x 1.07 Workers who are regularly assigned to serve as lead workers, or are regularly assigned to work on swing or grave shift will be paid the lead or shift premium rates for all hours of work or paid leave.
Premium Pay Rates. 7.1 Time and one-half shall be paid for hours worked, as authorized by appropriate supervisory personnel, in excess of eight (8) in any one day or in excess of forty (40) in any workweek without duplication. There will be no pyramiding of holiday pay, overtime pay or premium pay. For the purposes of this Article, any incident which occurs on a work assignment and continues beyond the scheduled conclusion of the employee’s shift, will be considered a continuation of that work assignment and the employee shall receive overtime pay only for those hours actually worked. 7.2 If an employee works on his/her normal day off, s/he will be paid time and one-half (double time if authorized by the Chief of Police or his/her designee to work, excluding details and court time on his/her sixth day worked under a 4 & 2 schedule/seventh day worked under a 5 & 2 schedule). 7.3 The Chief of Police, or his/her designee, will make every effort to ensure that the employee is provided with seven (7) days notice of a change in the employee’s regularly scheduled workweek, and that his/her days off are not forfeited by the change. 7.4 A C.I.D. employee who is on call and assigned to carry a cell phone or beeper during an eight (8) hour shift will be paid a flat rate of $30.00 for that shift if not called into work. If the employee is called in, the employee will be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours of related work as determined by the shift supervisor at the appropriate overtime rate. 7.5 If an employee is called in before the start of his/her regularly scheduled shift for a period of less than two (2) hours, s/he will receive the appropriate overtime rate for only those hours worked. If an employee is called in for more than a two-hour period before the start of his/her regularly scheduled shift for the purposes of departmental overtime, s/he will receive a minimum of four (4) hours work or pay at the appropriate overtime rate in addition to pay for all hours worked in his/her regular schedule at the appropriate straight time rate. Such departmental overtime opportunities shall be distributed as equitably as practicable over the life of the Agreement in accordance with current departmental policy, which may change from time to time. 7.6 In the application of the overtime provisions of the Agreement, departmental overtime is defined as overtime worked as a result of route coverage, communications coverage, coverage for absence (paid or unpaid) or as work resulting from the ass...
Premium Pay Rates. Assistant Supervisors will receive a premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour. • Assistant Trainers will receive a premium of one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per hour. • Employees working in a –30 C cold room will receive twenty-five ($0.25) per hour. • When an employee is performing chemical weighing duties as part of the job of Material Handler, they will receive thirty cents ($0.30) per hour during the time those duties are performed. • Line Mechanics- When an employee is performing Line Mechanic duties as part of the job of Maintenance Mechanic, he/she will receive thirty cents ($0.30) per hour for the time those duties are performed.
Premium Pay Rates. Registered Nurses who are assigned to be in charge of a unit (i.e., assignment as team leader or Charge Nurse) shall receive a 10% premium above their regular pay rate for all hours worked. This is in addition to any other applicable shift premiums (i.e., PM, weekend) they may be due.

A Nurse who works overtime (as defined in Article 7.07) on a recognized Holiday shall be paid at the rate of two times (2 x) the Nurse’s regular rate of pay for the overtime worked.
