GENERAL PROVISIONS. 1. The States Parties hereby establish the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Or- ganization (hereinafter referred to as ’’the Organization’’) to achieve the object and purpose of this Treaty, to ensure the imple- mentation of its provisions, including those for international verification of compliance with it, and to provide a forum for consultation and cooperation among States Parties.

GENERAL PROVISIONS. 1. In order to give effect to Article 5 of the Convention, the measures concerning labour inspection in agriculture should be taken in the light of the principles embodied in the Labour Inspection (Agriculture) Convention and Recommendation, 1969.

In accordance with the relevant parts of this Convention, the Contracting Parties shall ap- ply the measures described below and take into account Best Environmental Practice (BEP) and Best Available Technology (BAT) to reduce the pollution from agricultural ac- tivities. The Contracting Parties shall elabo- rate Guidelines containing items specified below and report to the Commission. For the purposes of the Annex III part II Regulation 2, the following definitions are used 1.“Environmentally friendly way” means ways (of doing something) that ensure mini- mal or least negative effects on adjacent wa- ters, soils, atmospheric environments and habitats.
