Common use of Identity documents Clause in Contracts

Identity documents. On the basis of the hotel's legitimate interest in guaranteeing the security of goods and persons and/or in order to prevent any incident relating to identity theft, we ask everyone staying in our hotel to provide a proof of identity, such as: national or foreign identity card, French or foreign passport, French or foreign driving license, combat card issued by the French military authorities, temporary residence card, resident card, Algerian national residence certificate, national card of a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area. If you cannot provide us with this document, we will be forced to refuse your room rental request.
