Disputes. 16.1. Disputes that arise upon implementation of these Contractual Conditions may be settled: I - by arbitration; or II - by judicial measure. 16.2. In case of arbitration, the insurance policy must include an arbitration clause to be optionally subscribed by the Insured by means of an express consent. 16.2.1. Upon agreeing to this clause, the insured will be undertaking itself to resolve all disputes with the insurance company by means of Arbitration, whose award have the same effect as the rulings by the judiciary. 16.2.2. The arbitration clause is governed by Law No. 9,307, dated of September 23, 1996. 17.

Disputes. Any and all disputes shall be governed by the Portuguese law and resolved in the Court of the Judicial District of Porto, to the exclusion of any other court. The parties agree that the addresses provided shall constitute their respective domicile.
