Common use of Academic Credentials Clause in Contracts

Academic Credentials. The candidate must hold a recognized Ph.D. or academic credential equivalent to the Ph.D. as determined by the CAPT or publicly available scholarly work judged by the CAPT to be of quality equivalent to doctoral research. Work submitted as equivalent to the Ph.D. may not be counted separately as evidence of continuing scholarship under other sections of this document except to the extent that it exceeds the work normally expected of a doctorate.
