Academic Status of Students. All students will remain enrolled as regular degree candidates at the home institution and will not be enrolled as candidates for degrees at the host institution. Credits toward the student’s degree shall be recognized by the home institution provided that the recognition is compatible with the institution´s examination regulations. Students are expected to maintain the equivalent of a full course load at the host institution. Students enrolled in the host institution will be subject to the same rules and regulations as local students.
Academic Status of Students. Students will remain registered at their home institutions for the duration of their exchange and will not be enrolled as candidates for degrees at the host institution. Students will be enrolled as full time students - twelve (12) credit hours per semester or equivalent for undergraduate students and nine (9) credit hours or equivalent for graduate students. Exchange students will have access to the same facilities at their host institution as have home students.

Language of Execution If this MOU is executed more than one language, the English version shall control in the event of inconsistency in meaning or interpretation of terms.

It is recommended that the exchange students hosted by Yeditepe University take a credit-bearing Turkish language class offered by the University while attending other courses in or related to their majors. It is also recommended that the exchange students from Yeditepe University take an advancedEnglish language class for creditto improve their conversational language skills while attending other courses in or related to their majors. The home institution will provide the host institution a list of participating students, their academic qualifications, and their planned programs of study prior to their enrollment at the host institution. Exchange Coordinators For conditions of the linkage and terms of agreement not covered by this Student Exchange Agreement or for problems, which arise while the exchange agreement is in effect, both parties agree to refrain from unilateral action, to consult with each other and to negotiate mutually agreeable decisions. All specific projects to which this Agreement may lead shall be evaluated on a regular basis by the designated authorities of both institutions.
