Accumulated Leave Day Reimbursement. Any teacher who resigns or retires shall receive the sum of $26.50 for his/her accumulated leave days (3.9.1) through the 1996-97 school year and the sum of $30.00 for days accumulated beginning with the 1997-98 school year. This sum shall also be paid to the beneficiary of any teacher who dies while an employee of Xxxxxx Xxxxx Public Schools.

Accumulated Leave Day Reimbursement. Any teacher who resigns after five (5) years of service in Xxxxxx Xxxxx Public Schools shall receive the sum of $30 for his/her accumulated leave days (3.9.1). Any teacher who retires after five (5) years of service in Xxxxxx Xxxxx Public Schools shall receive the sum of $60 for his/her accumulated leave days (3.9.1) if notice of retirement is provided by March 1, the reimbursement shall decrease to $40 per day if notice is provided by April 1, and the reimbursement shall decrease to $30 per day if notice is provided after April 30. This sum shall also be paid to the beneficiary of any teacher who dies while an employee of Xxxxxx Xxxxx Public Schools. The BOARD, at its sole discretion, may also choose to offer an early notice incentive payment to retiring teachers who provide notice prior to March 1.

  • Sick Leave Reimbursement An employee who has received sick leave benefits for injuries caused by a third party shall be obliged, in the event such employee undertakes an action for recovery of damages against the third party, to seek recovery of the total cost of wages and benefits paid to the employee while on sick leave. The employee shall be obliged to reimburse the Employer to the extent the employee succeeded in recovering such wages and benefits. This provision includes claims made to ICBC.

  • Meal Reimbursement 1. If an employee is required to work one and one-half (1-1/2) hours before or beyond his/her normal working day or on overtime for emergency purposes or for extended work periods of five (5) or more hours in length on a day that is not the employee’s regular work day, and the employee is not exercising flexible work hours, the employee shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of a meal/food items not to exceed $18.00, plus tip (not to exceed 15%) and applicable taxes. Reimbursement is contingent upon the employee providing receipts.

  • Mileage Reimbursement A. Subject to the current Vehicle Rules and Regulations established by the Board, an employee who is authorized to use a private automobile in the performance of duties shall be reimbursed for each mile driven in the performance of his or her duties during each monthly period as follows:

  • Deduction from Sick Leave A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days absent for sick leave.

  • Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.

  • Sick Leave Payment Any employee, at his/her option may choose to receive payment for sick leave earned during the year which is unused at the end of the year. Any such payment must be for the total number of unused sick leave hours earned during the year, must be based on the hourly rate of pay of the employee multiplied by 50 percent, and all hours for which payment is received must be deducted from the employee’s accumulated leave balance. Sick leave used during a current year will be charged against the most recently earned sick leave. Hourly rate of pay is the hourly rate at the end of the contract year.

  • Unused Sick Leave The accrual of unused sick leave hours is unlimited. The City and the Union commit to the evaluation and establishment of a mutually beneficial non-use of sick leave incentive and pay-out policy. Until such time that a policy is established, accumulated sick leave shall be compensated as follows: Upon retirement from the City service, an employee shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated sick leave, with the rate of payment based upon his regular pay at the time he retires. Upon the death of an employee, his beneficiary shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated unused sick leave, with the payment based upon his regular pay at the date of his death.

  • Expense Reimbursement The Executive shall be entitled to receive reimbursement for all appropriate business expenses incurred by him in connection with his duties under this Agreement in accordance with the policies of the Company as in effect from time to time.
