Common use of Accumulated Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Accumulated Sick Leave. Upon termination of service, Employee will be compensated at the Employee’s daily rate of pay at the rate of one day for each five days of accumulated sick leave, capped at 100 days, and may elect to have the District purchase PERS credit. Employee may participate in the Health Reimbursement Account program offered under the District’s collective bargaining agreement with CCASAPE. Employee may not participate in any other form of payment for unused sick leave.
