Acting Sergeant Pay. Police Officers working as acting supervisors shall be compensated at Step "4" of the Sergeant’s rate of pay. Town shall periodically review the actual time use of acting supervisor designations in order to determine the necessity of additional permanent supervisory personnel. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, this is special compensation for “Classics” only and shall be reported as such to CalPERS, pursuant to Title 2 CCR Section 571(a)(3) as Temporary Upgrade Pay.

Acting Sergeant Pay. An employee is eligible to receive Acting Pay of five and one-half percent (5.5%), if the employee is a Corporal and is assigned as an Acting Sergeant. The Corporal shall receive compensation in the amount of an additional 5.5% for all hours worked in the acting capacity. The department shall not fill a vacant Sergeant position with an Acting Sergeant for more than thirty (30) calendar days. Serving in an acting capacity shall not be used as a basis for, or in support of, a request for reclassification.
Acting Sergeant Pay. Patrol officers who are assigned the duties of acting Watch Sergeant shall receive one (1) hour of overtime for each shift they are assigned to that position for four (4) hours or more.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Section 14.01 Pursuant to section 17076.11 of the Education Code, the DISTRICT has a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE’s) of at least three (3) percent, per year, of funds expended each year by the DISTRICT on projects that use funds allocated by the State Allocation Board pursuant to the Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx School Facilities Act (the Act). Should this project use funds allocated under the Act, to the extent feasible and as required by law, RGMK shall provide to the DISTRICT certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount paid to DVBE’s in conjunction with the Agreement, and documentation demonstrating RGMK’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises This section is applicable if Contractor received a disabled veteran business enterprise (“DVBE”) incentive in connection with this Agreement. Contractor’s failure to meet the DVBE commitment set forth in its bid or proposal constitutes a breach of the Agreement. If Contractor used DVBE subcontractor(s) in connection with this Agreement: (i) Contractor must use the DVBE subcontractors identified in its bid or proposal, unless the Judicial Council approves in writing replacement by another DVBE subcontractor in accordance with the terms of this Agreement; and (ii) Contractor must within sixty (60) days of receiving final payment under this Agreement certify in a report to the Judicial Council: (1) the total amount of money Contractor received under the Agreement; (2) the name and address of each DVBE subcontractor to which Contractor subcontracted work in connection with the Agreement; (3) the amount each DVBE subcontractor received from Contractor in connection with the Agreement; and (4) that all payments under the Agreement have been made to the applicable DVBE subcontractors. A person or entity that knowingly provides false information shall be subject to a civil penalty for each violation.

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.
