Active Employee Deduction Sample Clauses
The Active Employee Deduction clause defines a reduction or adjustment in benefits, payments, or entitlements based on an individual's status as an active employee. Typically, this clause applies in contexts such as insurance or retirement plans, where benefits may be offset or limited if the person is still actively working for the employer. For example, an employee might receive a smaller disability benefit if they are still earning a salary. The core function of this clause is to prevent overlapping or excessive benefits and to ensure that compensation is appropriately aligned with the employee's current work status.
