Common use of Additional Assignments Clause in Contracts

Additional Assignments. The Employer may pay additional compensation for the voluntary performance of extra assignments requiring additional responsibility, effort, and skill. The amount of such compensation shall be determined by the Employer and the employee after consultation with the Association. The additional compensation shall terminate upon the completion of the assignment. i. When a qualified paraeducator agrees to substitute teach for the regularly assigned teacher, s/he shall receive $25.00 in addition to their regular compensation.
