Adjudication Committee. The Executive Board of the Association shall submit to the Superintendent or designee, prior to October first (10/1) of each year, a list of three (3) Bargaining Unit Member's names to form the committee. An applicant for stipend shall not sit on the committee. The Superintendent or designee shall serve on the Adjudication Committee as a non-voting recording Secretary. The Adjudication Committee's purpose shall be to meet, review, and determine whether the professional growth requirements of this article have been met, and approve and/or reject professional growth increment credits and stipend award(s) recommendations to the Superintendent or designee for final approval and submission to the Board of Trustees.

Adjudication Committee. (a) The Government and the BCMA will maintain an adjudication committee (the “Adjudication Committee”) to resolve Provincial Disputes, Local Disputes, Local Interest Issues and other issues in accordance with this Agreement. The Adjudication Committee will be composed of one BCMA representative and one Government representative. In addition, a chair will be appointed from the Roster, on a rotating basis in the order in which the members of the Roster are listed in Appendix I starting with the first member listed (unless the Government and the BCMA otherwise agree in writing), at the time a reference is made to the Adjudication Committee. If any member of the Roster to be appointed to the Adjudication Committee is not able to hear the matter within a reasonable time the next named member who is able to do so will be appointed, and the rotation will continue from the member actually appointed. The Government and the BCMA will each be entitled to appoint one alternate representative to the Adjudication Committee.

  • Negotiation Committee (A) The Union may designate certain employees to serve on its Negotiation Committee, and such employees will be granted administrative leave to attend negotiating sessions with the state. No employee shall be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee's regular workday for any day the employee is in negotiations. The agency shall not reimburse employees for travel, meals, lodging, or any expense incurred in connection with attendance at negotiating sessions.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.

  • Union Committee The Union shall appoint and maintain a Committee comprising persons who are employees of the Employer, and/or the Senior Union Official, or her/his representative, which shall be known as the Union Committee. The Union at all times shall keep the Employer informed of the individual membership of the Committee.

  • Evaluation Committee A The Association and the Board agree to establish a standing joint Evaluation Development Committee for the purpose of establishing the procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District and to regularly review the effectiveness of the procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District.

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • UNION COMMITTEES Union Committees as provided for in this Agreement, will be of a size that will not unduly curtail production.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Compensation Committee (A) The Compensation Committee shall be composed of not more than five (5) members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members who are not officers of the Company and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.

  • Appeals Committee ‌ An Appeals Committee is hereby established composed of one member appointed by the Union, one member appointed by the Employer or by the Association, as the case may be, and a Public Member appointed by both these members.
