Administrative Vacancies. The College retains the ultimate authority regarding the filling of all vacancies. 1. In the event that the College creates a new administrative position or a vacant administrative position is to be filled through a competitive search process, the Human Resources Executive Director or designee will provide the President of the Association with a copy of the job posting at the time of advertisement. 2. Application for another position, whether within the College or elsewhere, is recognized as a professional right and shall not affect adversely a member's status in their present position. 3. College administration shall make an effort to identify qualified internal candidates to fill vacant positions.
