Common use of Adoption Leave Clause in Contracts

Adoption Leave. (a) An employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may be granted a leave of absence without pay up to thirty- seven (37) weeks for the adoption of a child.

(a) An employee A regular Employee who has completed six ninety (690) months days of continuous employment may shall, upon written request, be granted a job protected leave of absence without pay for up to thirty- seven sixty-two weeks as necessary for the purpose of adopting a child. Upon four (374) weeks for written notice of intent to return to work, the regular Employee shall be re-engaged in the same classification held immediately prior to taking adoption leave and at the same rate of a childpay.

Adoption Leave. (a) An employee Employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may shall upon written request, giving twenty-eight (28) calendar days notice before the Employee can reasonably expect to first obtain custody of the child being adopted, be granted a leave of absence without pay for up to thirty- seven twelve (3712) weeks months as necessary for the adoption purpose of adopting a child.
