Floor Supervisors The Employer will pay all hours spent training at their regular rate of pay for the following games: Roulette, Pai Gow Tiles, Poker, and Craps. Hours spent training shall be credited towards seniority or accrued as time worked on the pay grids. An employee shall receive overtime pay in the event training and hours worked combined exceed eight (8) hours a day and/or forty-four (44) hours a week.

Floor Sup The Employer will pay all hours spent training at the rate of twelve ($12.00) dollars per hour for the following games: Roulette, Tiles*, Poker and Craps. Hours spent training shall be credited towards seniority or accrued as time worked on the pay grids. An employee shall receive overtime pay in the event training and hours worked combined exceed eight (8) hours a day and/or forty-four (44) hours a week. Employees that have received advanced game training and/or accepted payment for training from the Employer, poker, craps, roulette, and have completed their probationary period, will not be able to refuse their work assignments for those games. Any exceptions require the approval of Casino Manager. is understood and agreed that the above provisions respecting games training remuneration will be prospectively from the date of ratification (July 2007) and shall have no retroactive application. The Company will provide new hires with training and an orientation program that will include information regarding their employment with the Palace Casino. This will include fire and generaI safety p ures. *It is understood that Tiles is not a game that is currently offered by the Palace Casino therefore training will only occur if the game is resurrected.

Related to Advanced Games Training

  • Off the Job Training Where it is agreed that an employee undertakes job related training provided by the Employer or by a Third Party, that training may be undertaken either on or off the job. Where courses are available during normal working hours, the employee has first option of attending training at these times. If such training is undertaken during normal working hours, the employee concerned will not suffer any loss of pay. Where the Employer requires an employee to undertake mandatory job related training after hours, single time rates shall apply. Any costs associated with standard fees for prescribed courses and prescribed textbooks (except those textbooks which are available in the Employer's technical library) incurred in connection with the undertaking of training will be reimbursed by the Employer upon production of evidence of such expenditure. Provided that reimbursement will also be on an annual basis subject to the presentation of reports of satisfactory progress. Travel costs incurred by an employee undertaking training in accordance with this clause which exceed those normally incurred in travelling to and from work will be reimbursed by the Employer.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • APPRENTICES/TRAINEES 25.1 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to all of the applicable rates and conditions of employment prescribed by this Agreement.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.
