After School Detention. For each hour of after school detention performed by a member of the bargaining unit, said employee shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of Section 17.07(A).
After School Detention. The after school detention and Saturday School process will be discussed annually with the Association.
After School Detention. 3 Detentions – One game or scrimmage suspension (football – ½ game).
After School Detention. Is scheduled from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. every week they are required. Students assigned are expected to bring homework, or an appropriate book that will keep them on task and quiet. Students must arrive on time. The detention will start on time.
After School Detention. 1. The Compensation rate to be set at $31.00 per hour for after-school detention. Effective July 1, 2005, the rate of compensation shall be increased to $32.00 per hour. Effective July 1, 2006, the rate of compensation shall be increased to $34.00 per hour. Payment to be made only if students are present for detention, and with prior approval of the Superintendent.
After School Detention. The Wayne County After School Detention (ASD) will be housed at the respective schools. The decision to place a student in ASD will be the responsibility of the school administration. Participation in extracurricular activities will be the decision of the supervising principal. GANG RELATED ACTIVITIES (JCBB) MS Code §37-11-57, 38-41 Gangs, which initiate, advocate or promote activities that threaten the safety or well-being of persons or property in school or which disrupt the school environment are harmful to the educational process. The use of hand signals, graffiti, or the presence of any apparel, jewelry, other accessories or manner of grooming, which by virtue of its color, arrangement, trademark, symbol or any other attribute which indicates or implies membership or affiliation which such a group, presents a clear and present danger and is prohibited. Any incidents involving initiations, hazing, intimidation, and/or related activities of such a group affiliation, which are likely to cause bodily danger, physical harm or personal degradation of disgrace resulting in physical or mental harm, is prohibited. Where gang activities are suspected or confirmed, a complaint will be filed in accordance with the “Mississippi Street Gang Act” (MS Code §97-44-11). Any violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action by the school administration. The student/students involved in the violation shall be suspended and could be expelled from school. (MS Code§97-44-11)
After School Detention. The extra contractual hourly pay scale for members of this bargaining unit will be $19.14. If no members of this bargaining unit choose to participate in the above mentioned Extra Contractual activities, the hourly pay will be $11.85.
After School Detention. Compensation for After School Detention duty will be at a rate of twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour.
