Common use of Afternoon Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Afternoon Shift Premium. All work in a shift that begins after 4:00 p.m. shall be paid a premium of ten percent (10%) of the regular hourly rate.

Afternoon Shift Premium. − All work in a shift that begins after 4:00 p.m. shall be paid a premium of ten percent (10%) of the regular hourly rate. Night Shift Premium − All work in a shift that begins after 7:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. shall be paid a premium of fifteen percent (15%) of the regular hourly rate. Where agreeable between the Employer, the working xxxxxxx and, where applicable the site superintendent, alterations to the night shift start and end times may be permitted.
