Common use of Allowable Leave Clause in Contracts

Allowable Leave. 13.7.3.1 Allowable leave shall not be accumulated from fiscal year to year. When an industrial accident or illness leave overlaps into the next fiscal year, the employee shall be entitled to only the amount of unused leave due the faculty member for the same illness or injury. 13.7.3.2 Faculty members who have exhausted the 60-day compensated leave may utilize accrued sick leave in fractions of days for which pay, when added to disability compensation, will ensure the faculty member’s full salary but will not exceed a normal day’s compensation as calculated for each faculty member.
