Common use of Annual Sick Leave Conversion Clause in Contracts

Annual Sick Leave Conversion. Each calendar year, an eligible member may convert sick leave to vacation leave and/or cash, pursuant to the following formula: Number of Total Hours of Accrued Sick Leave Total Number of Hours Eligible for Conversion 1,000 – 1,499 24 1,500 and above 40 ** The total number of sick leave hours accrued are those hours as of December 31.
