Appointment Categories. Appointments held by members of the bargaining unit shall be specified as being either a regular appointment or a term appointment, and may be either full-time or part-time. A regular appointment normally carries the expectation of continuation of employment until retirement, subject to the provisions of Article 7 and 26, and provided the staff member’s competence and performance continue to meet appropriate evaluation criteria. Subject to Article 5.03, term appointments carry no expectation of employment subsequent to the expiry of the stated term.
Appointment Categories. All employees shall be appointed to one of the following four categories: full-time continuing, part-time continuing, full- time term, part-time term.
