APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. A.1. Prior to appointment contracts being offered, employees must advise the College/University in writing of any other employment, including employment as an adjunct faculty at another College/University and/or at the same College/University but in another department/program provided there is an appointment contract issued pursuant to XIII.B.1.
APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. A. Prior to appointment contracts being offered, employees must advise the College/University in writing of any other employment, including employment as an adjunct faculty at another College/University and/or at the same College/University but in another department/program provided there is a contract issued pursuant to XIII.B.1.
B.1. When a prospective employee is offered appointment, he or she shall be provided with a letter of appointment contract. The letter of appointment contract shall include:
a) The name of the employing College/University;
b) The dates for which the appointment is effective;
c) The salary rate;
d) A specification of the course(s) to be taught, which will include the dates and times the prospective employee is to teach.
APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. (a) OC shall appoint employees in accordance with Article 8.
APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. Each Member will agree to contribute adequate staff for the management of the Company, its Subsidiaries and Investee Companies in accordance with the Member’s special competencies, capabilities, the requirements of Applicable Law, the regulatory strategy of the Company and other agreements.
APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. (1) The Managing Director may, from time to time within the limits of funds lawfully available for the purpose, appoint such other employees as he thinks necessary for the purposes of the Authority on such terms and conditions as he may determine subject to the provisions of the Salaries and Conditions Monitoring Committee Act 1988.
(2) The Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director and other employees appointed under this section constitute the staff of the Authority.
(3) The Managing Director shall be responsible for directing the other staff of the Authority.
APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. (a) The appointment of Employees shall be in writing which shall indicate whether the appointment is Regular, Temporary or Casual and whether the appointment is Full-Time or Part-Time. This shall include anticipated shift schedules. Where possible, the Employer shall provide seven (7) calendar days’ notice of schedules to Employees.
(b) The appointment of Employees shall be within one of the classifications of Staff Representative, Administrative Coordinator or Staff Accountant.
(c) A Temporary Employee shall not attain Regular status during the period of his/her temporary appointment.
(d) In accordance with Clause 8.1(d), the Employer may also hire Casual Employees to replace Regular Employees who are absent or on leave under the provisions of this Agreement.

(a) The appointment of Employees shall indicate whether the appointment is Regular, Temporary or Casual and whether the appointment is Full-Time or Part- Time.
(b) The appointment of Employees shall be within one of the classifications.
(c) A Temporary Employee shall not attain Regular status during the period of their temporary appointment.
(d) In accordance with Clause 8.1.4, the Employer may also hire Causal Employees to replace Regular Employees who are absent or on leave under the provisions of this Agreement.

B.1. When a prospective employee is offered appointment, he or she shall be provided with a letter of appointment contract. APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEES. 9.01 OUC shall appoint employees in accordance with Article 8.
9.02 OUC shall require each candidate for appointment to sign an appointment form, which shall be an offer of appointment to OUC, indicating their acceptance of the conditions of their appointment and their acceptance of the conditions of this Agreement, provided that such appointment form shall not in any way be contrary to, vary, or alter the Articles of this Agreement.
9.03 All candidates for appointment shall be sent two copies of the appointment form signed by the President, or designate, indicating the program in which they shall teach. Upon signing and delivering one copy of the appointment form to the Human Resources Office within the time period specified on the form, the candidate shall be deemed to have accepted the appointment. Any candidate who fails to deliver a signed acceptance of offer of appointment within the time period stipulated on the form shall be deemed to have rejected OUC's offer, and OUC shall be entitled to consider the position vacant.
9.04 At the time of initial appointment within a department, employees shall receive general orientation and their instructional assignments before being required to assume their assigned instructional duties.
9.05 All candidates for appointments of less than 10 days shall be sent an appointment letter, signed by the OUC President or designate, confirming the terms of their appointment.
