Appointment Eligibility. If contracted for 18 or more units as of July 1 of a plan year, an Adjunct Faculty member shall be eligible for benefits for that plan year, consistent with the terms of the plan.

Appointment Eligibility. If paid by course contracted for five (5) 1.0 Courses (or equivalent when calculating additional assigned work) in a Letter of Appointment, the Bargaining Unit Faculty member shall be eligible for benefits for that plan year commencing on August 1, consistent with the terms of the plan. If classified as an hourly, non-exempt employee, designated upon appointment as meeting the eligibility requirements for this classification: five actual (5) 1.0 Courses or an average of 30 hours per workweek over the College's eligibility period then in effect.
