Regular Appointment The authorized appointment of an individual to a position covered by Civil Service.
XXXXXXXX'S APPOINTMENT The Authority hereby appoints the Supplier as a potential provider of the Services and the Supplier shall be eligible to be considered for the award of Orders for such Services by the Authority and Other Contracting Bodies during the Term and in consideration of the Supplier agreeing to enter into this Framework Agreement and to perform its obligations under it the Authority agrees to pay and the Supplier agrees to accept on the signing of this Framework Agreement the sum of one (£1.00) pound sterling (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the Supplier).
Appointment of mediator Within 10 Working Days of receipt of the notice referring the Dispute to mediation, the parties must attempt to agree on the identity of the mediator and, if they cannot agree within that timeframe, the mediator will be appointed by the President (or their nominee) of the New Zealand chapter of the Resolution Institute.
Salary on Appointment Note: These provisions shall be applied in accordance with any administrative conditions that were in effect at the commencement of this Agreement. Nothing in these provisions shall be read as extending any entitlement beyond that which existed at the commencement of this Agreement except as may be expressly agreed to by the Secretary for Education after consultation with the unions.
Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.
Rate of Pay on Appointment from Layoff List When an individual is appointed from a layoff list to a position in the same class in which the person was previously employed, the person shall be paid at the same salary step at which such employee was being paid at the time of layoff.
Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.
Appointment of auditors 33.2.1 The Concessionaire shall appoint, and have during the subsistence of this Agreement as its Statutory Auditors, a firm chosen by it from the mutually agreed list of 10 (ten) reputable firms of chartered accountants (the “Panel of Chartered Accountants”), such list to be prepared substantially in accordance with the criteria set forth in Schedule-T. All fees and expenses of the Statutory Auditors shall be borne by the Concessionaire.
Reappointment Within Six Months 261. A permanent employee who resigns and is subsequently reappointed to a position in the same classification within six (6) months of the effective date of resignation shall be reappointed to the same salary step that the employee received at the time of resignation.
Appointment of Stewards A. The Union will certify to the Employer in writing a xxxxxxx or stewards and alternates in accordance with the fol- lowing general guidelines. Where more than one xxxxxxx is appointed, one shall be designated chief xxxxxxx. The selection and appointment of stewards or chief stewards is the sole and exclusive function of the Union. Stewards will be certified to represent employees in specific work location(s) on their tour; provided no more than one xxxxxxx may be certified to repre- sent employees in a particular work location(s). The number of stewards certified shall not exceed, but may be less than, the number provided by the formula hereinafter set forth.
