Asbestos eradication. Employees engaged in work involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any material which consists of, or contains asbestos will be paid, in addition to the rates prescribed in this Agreement, $1.70 per hour worked in lieu of special rates prescribed in this Appendix A, with the exception of hot work and cold work.
Asbestos eradication. Employees engaged in work involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any material which consists of, or contains asbestos will be paid, in addition to the rates prescribed in this Agreement, an allowance in accordance with Clause A2 – Allowance table with the exception of hot work and cold work.
Asbestos eradication. 33.3.1 Asbestos eradication is defined as work on or about buildings, involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consists of, or contain asbestos.
33.3.2 In addition to the rates prescribed in this Agreement, an employee who is engaged in asbestos eradication (as defined) shall receive $1.16 per hour.
Asbestos eradication. (i) This sub-clause shall apply to employees engaged in the process of asbestos eradication on the performance of work within the scope of this Agreement.
(ii) For the purposes of this clause “asbestos eradication” means work on or about buildings, involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consist of, or contain asbestos.
(iii) All aspects of asbestos work shall meet as a minimum standard the provisions of the National Health and Medical Research Council codes, as varied from time to time, for the safe demolition/removal of asbestos based materials. Without limiting the effect of the above provision, any person who carried out asbestos eradication work shall do so in accordance with the legislation/regulations prescribed by the appropriate authorities.
(iv) An employee engaged in asbestos eradication (as defined) shall receive an allowance of $1.42 per hour worked in lieu of rates prescribed in subclause 25.1(c).
(v) Respiratory protective equipment, conforming to the relevant parts of the appropriate Australian Standard (i.e. 1716 "Specification of Respiratory Protective Devices") shall be worn by all personnel during work involving eradication of asbestos.
Asbestos eradication. (a) Application – Clause 9.1.2 will apply to employees engaged in the process of asbestos eradication on the performance of work within the scope of this Agreement;
(b) Definition – Asbestos eradication is defined as work on or about building, involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consist of or contain asbestos
Asbestos eradication. Employees engaged in the process of asbestos eradication (defined as work on or about buildings, involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consist of or contain asbestos).on the performance of work within the scope of this award, shall receive $1.64 per hour worked in lieu of special rates prescribed in this clause with the exception of 25.1.4(b), 25.1.4(c), 25.1.4(e), 25.1.19, 25.1.23 and 25.1.32 hereof.
Asbestos eradication. (a) Asbestos eradication is defined as work involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation, of any materials, which consist of, or contain, asbestos.
(b) Any FTM involved in asbestos eradication or removal shall receive a rate of pay equivalent to not less than that of lagger and a special rate of $1.56 per hour in lieu of all other special rates prescribed in this clause with the exception of Hot, Cold and Height allowances.
Asbestos eradication. 10.2.1 Clause 10.2 shall apply to workers engaged in the process of asbestos eradication on the performance of work within the scope of this Award.
Asbestos eradication. Employees engaged in work involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any material which consists of, or contains asbestos will be paid, in addition to the rates prescribed in this Agreement, $1.75 per hour worked in lieu of special rates prescribed in this Appendix A, with the exception of hot work and cold work. This allowance will be adjusted annually on 1 March (2010 -2011) based on the December to December Consumer Price Index of the previous year from the Australian bureau of Statistics (all groups, Melbourne)
Asbestos eradication. A3.1.1 This clause will apply to nominated Technical Officers levels 2 to 4 employees (performing building inspection duties) engaged in the process of asbestos eradication. Asbestos eradication is defined as work involving the removal, or supervision of the removal, or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consist of or contain asbestos.
A3.1.2 In addition to the rates prescribed in this Agreement, an employee engaged on asbestos eradication and wearing the required protective equipment will receive $1.40 per hour so worked.
