Common use of Assigned Day Clause in Contracts

Assigned Day. The psychologists' and social workers’ regularly assigned day shall be that generally required of all teachers. As with classroom teachers and other regularly assigned certified personnel this is not to be interpreted so as to interfere with or relieve the psychologists and the social workers of the responsibility for service as required to serve students, parents, and colleagues appropriately and professionally.

Psychologists and social workers shall be provided compensation for handling crises outside of contract hours with the approval of the building level administration or Student Support Services Administer.
