Association Dues. Pursuant to such authorization, the board shall deduct 1/12th of such dues from the regular salary check of the employee each month for the twelve months beginning in September and ending in August of each year. If the authorization is received after September 10, the deduction will be prorated over the remaining pay periods. Once the authorization is properly filed, the dues deduction will continue until revoked in writing by the teacher. In order to ensure the proper amount of money is withheld for association dues, the local association will certify to the board the correct amount of annual dues.
