Common use of Association Grievances Clause in Contracts

Association Grievances. A grievance which the Association may have against the District, 46 limited as aforesaid to matters dealing with the interpretation or application of terms of this 47 Agreement relating to Association’s rights, shall be commenced by filing in writing (in the 48 format of Step 2, above) with the superintendent. Such filing shall be within twenty (20) 1 working 18 days following the occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance or twentytwenty (20) 19 days after the event is known or reasonably should have been known. The 20 Superintendent or their designee and the Association will have ten (10) days from the 21 receipt of the grievance to resolve it.
