Association Representative Attendance. When absence from work is required to attend labor­management meetings, Bargaining Unit Members shall, before leaving their work station, give a minimum forty­eight (48) hours’ notice to and receive approval from their supervisor to attend the meeting. Supervisory approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The number of Bargaining Unit Members attending such meetings shall be limited to two (2). In order not to lose pay, a Bargaining Unit Member shall use vacation time or accumulated compensatory time to cover the absence with pay.

  • Association Representative 5.3.1.1 Management recognizes that one of the prime functions of the Council is to represent bargaining unit members and investigate complaints of members of the bargaining unit.

  • Association Representatives Authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact Association business on and with school property at all reasonable times provided that such activities shall not interfere with normal school operations.

  • Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite.   • Union Representative Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Notice of Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.

  • Designated Representative A. Contractor designates as contract agent with primary responsibility for the performance of this contract.   • Association Interview The Association will be allowed to interview newly employed nurses during the Hospital’s general orientation and, when possible, be notified of the date for the interview at least two (2) weeks in advance.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • Association Representation 6.01 The Association may appoint or otherwise select a bargaining committee. Such committee shall represent the Association in all negotiations with the representatives of the Board in the settlement of a collective agreement.
