Association Use of Premises. The Association shall be permitted to use those facilities of the Employer for the transaction of Association business during working hours which have been used in the past for such purpose and to have reasonable use of the Employer's facilities during off-duty hours for Association meetings subject to appropriate compensation if required by law. This Section shall not be interpreted to grant an employee the right to carry on Association business during his/her own working hours, not granted elsewhere in the contract.
Association Use of Premises. Association meetings shall be allowed in the Central Library buildings outside normal work hours so long as the time and place of the meetings have been approved.

The Association shall be permitted to use space in the READS Administration Building in Middleboro, Massachusetts for Association meetings with notice to the Executive Director. The Union shall have the right to meet with newly-hired unit members, without charge to the pay or leave time of such a unit member during new employee orientation or, if READS does not conduct new employee orientation for a particular new hire or group of new hires, at an individual or group meeting not later than 10 calendar days after the date of hire.
