Cancer Screening. The parties to this agreement recognise the value of early detection in reducing special dangers from cervical; breast; testicular; prostrate and other cancers and are committed to encouraging employees in the industry to undergo screening at the recommended frequency. It is recommended that on- site screening facilities be provided where justified by the number of employees. Where this is not possible, however, individuals will need to make their own arrangements for cancer screening, and provided mutually acceptable arrangements are made, taking account of company shift patterns, and where applicable, and evidence of attendance given, employees shall receive reasonable time-off with pay for this purpose.

Both parties will mutually agree to the company performing the scans such as Lifescan, United Diagnostic Services, or NDS Wellness. The testing dates shall be coordinated by the Union. All results will remain confidential and go directly to the employee.
